The Tsarevna Swan, a spectacular ring that gets its name from its swanlike appearance, has set a new world record for the highest number of cut and polished diamonds set in a single, wearable diamond ring. The spectacular Tsarevna Swan diamond ring is set with over twenty five hundred cut diamonds, according to the Guinness World Book of Records.
Featuring a graceful, unique swan-like design, the stunning 18 karat white gold diamond ring was designed and created by Ukrainian Lobortas Classic Jewelry House, who are known for their spectacular and daring jewelry designs. The Tsarevna Swan diamond ring was unveiled for evaluation in 21 June, 2011. The ring is set with diamonds totaling approximately 10.48 carats, the diamonds themselves ranging 0.001-0.05 carat each. The diamonds are all G colored and are all of a high clarity grade, ranging from VVS2 to VS1, producing a high-end, high-quality diamond ring. The spectacular diamonds were supplied by the Shrenuj Group, an Indian based diamond and diamond jewelry manufacturer.
The ring itself took over five hundred man-hours to design and over three thousand to produce.
The Tsarevna Swan diamond ring is estimated at approximately one point three million dollars. Not the most expensive of diamond rings per say, but certainly an impressive piece as far as diamond set jewelry goes.
